A prodigal student and eldest of seven siblings in the remote janpad of Baliya, a young Vijay Shankar Yadav trained to become a teacher and started his early career at Saraswati Shishu Mandir. A visionary man, he soon collaborated to establish Godavari Prabhavati Shishu Vidyalaya and continued to impart education.
He believed in the power of education to bring change in society and create a society where learning brings transformation in life. His endless efforts gave Mau and the neighboring areas many pioneering institutions including intermediate colleges, women’s colleges, and even degree colleges. The first CBSE school in the area: the Little Flower Children’s School was also his brainchild. All his life, he dedicated his time, energy, and vision to the promotion of education, and today, we proudly carry forward his legacy as a part of the Little Flower Group of Institutions.
